This year the Fete is being held on the 7th September, as usual from 1400 to 1700 ish. We will be having some of the usual activities and stalls;

  • The Great Wizzo,
  • Teas
  • Entertainment from Revival
  • Raffle
  • Tombola
  • Elmdon Olympics
  • Bar
  • BBQ
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Face Painting
  • Potatoes

Instead of having the White Elephant stall, we are going to have a bigger car boot sale.

We unfortunately are restricted in the number of games as we have a very limited number of volunteers to help.

If there is anyone who wants to run the games on the square (bowls, putting etc), then please let Graeme Howard know (838526) and we would be delighted to have these running again.

We will be holding the next fete meeting mid-July at the Red Cow, as we don’t have our pub back yet, so please check the web site for this date to show and come along.

From the funds raised, contributions are made towards the OAP’s Christmas Meal and their summer outing, church upkeep, village hall upkeep and the Cricket Club maintenance. It has been decided by the committee that this year contributions will also be made to Crishall school as many of the villages children attend and also to the Music Box held in the village hall.

If anyone has any other suggestions for recipients of raised funds, please come along to the meeting or talk to Graeme.
