Village Hall

Elmdon Village Hall

Elmdon Village Hall is a small, brick built hall, built in 1905.

By a Charity Commission Scheme dated 14 October 1976 the charity known as Elmdon Parish Room was vested in the Landlord as custodian trustee on behalf of the Vicar and Churchwardens of Elmdon as managing trustees. The Tenants are the trustees of the Elmdon Village Hall.

The Hall is located at the Northern end of the High Street, opposite the bus shelter and the church, which are in the centre of the village.

The address is sometimes given as High Street, or Cross Hill, or even Heydon Lane. The post code is not known, but the thatched house next door, an ex-Public House called ‘The Carrier’, bears the postcode CB11 4NL. Users of SatNav may find however that it takes them either further up Heydon Lane, or further down the High Street, to a small row of houses called ‘Bangles’.
